E-Plates - for individual applications
For mould and punching-tool making as well as for the construction of jigs and fixtures.
Most inexpensive type.Therefore „E“ as in Economy.
The plate with two different bearing surfaces: precision-milled and ground.

Outer edges: precision-milled.
Angularity of the outer edges: 0.02 mm/100 mm.
Use: If grinding has to be carried out again after
hardening distortion or distortion due to heavy
machining with increased plate oversize.


P-Plates - Precision included
For mould and punching-tool making as well as for the construction of jigs and fixtures.
Both bearing surfaces peripherally ground.
With highest precision. Therefore „P“-plates.
Outer edges: precision-milled.
Angularity of the outer edges: 0.02 mm/100 mm.
Use: If no distortion or only slight distortion is
to be expected. Wherever subsequent grinding is
unnecessary.
